Appearance ;; Rain is a black/white/gray/tan wolf, with shining silver on the tips of her ears and on her paws, although the details are so small, they usually do not show up unless you stand close to her. Her teeth are a very pearly white, because she cleans them many times. Her eyes are dark pools of baby blue, with flecks of silver hidden within them. Rain's paws and legs are very sturdy, enabling her to run long distances. Rain's tail is black, but long strands of silver make it beautiful to look at when she is humored even the slightest.
Personality ;; Rain is a happy-go-lucky wolf with a smart attitude. She basically has two sides to her personality. One is, you meet her and act like a b*tch towards her. She smart-mouths you, and challenges you to a rank battle. Usually, though, the bad luck is on her. In most packs, she was an Omega after getting a smart attitude. Some say she has a small mental problem. Others say it's just her rebelious attitude.
Two is the loving side, that will play with pups when they want adventure. You walk up to her, stay with her for awhile, and get to know her. She begins to find you're a nice one, and soon you are telling jokes with her. Sharing funny stories of when you were pups. Play fighting, rough housing, and you become the best of buds. She can be a real loving wolf towards some. She can stay by your side when you're sick or hurt. She'd be more than happy to. First impressions matter to her. Don't miss out on that chance if you plan on being her friend.
History ;; Rain has been in many packs, sometimes becoming Betess. Others, she may have been a looked-down-on Omega. It depends on how she liked the ones over her rank. When she was born into the small, only-family pack, her parents didn't have to be smart to tell she was a trouble-maker. She'd be the one to find the water first, yes. And she was a resourceful hunter. But she lacked one thing. Patience.
When her mother and father may have cornered a small doe, guess who jumped in the middle of the silence and asked if her mommy could see her do a trick. I don't even have to answer. Rain had no siblings, and her parents were happy. One devil at a time, was what they believed. They tried desperately to break in Rain's spirit like a horse breaking in to a saddle or bridle, but she was stubborn. Her parents, having no patience, yelled at her, and often gave her hard chores to do while they got the wonderful shelter. The best food. While they let their own pup sit out in the rain and dig for worms.
But, in a sweeping brush-fire, Rain ran ahead of her parents, and a falling log, set aflame, was the cause of her parent's death. Rain believed it was her fault. She shouldn't have run ahead. She should have stayed with her parents, and perhaps they wouldn't have ran faster to keep up. But even though Rain was crying, there was only one real wolf she felt sorry for. Herself. It was hard, living alone, and the tragic happenings of Rain's childhood left a permanent tattoo in Rain's memory. Unfortunately.
Rain was accepted into many packs. Howling for acceptance from one after the other. Usually being one of the first in ther really small packs, and obtaining positions such as Betess or Gamess. But, as the pack grew, more wolves filled in the remaining positions. And Rain's quick mouth and short temper didn't get her anywhere but in Rank Battles. And usually she lost. Badly.
Finally, Rain gave herself a break. After every Omega-earning-time, Rain would run away. Travel through rivers, lakes, and even small streams, washing away her scent trail. She wasn't going to be tracked. She was too smart for that. Sometimes Rain made a mistake of going to her former pack's enemies territory and howling for acceptance. Sometimes they smelled it. Others, they didn't. Usually they did. So Rain decided, after a while, to quit joining packs. They didn't offer much. Just company and a place to sleep.
Rain has had a hard time adapting to her new lifestyle as a loner. But those new-found survival skills paid off. She was able to hunt effeciantly, and find a good source of water. She even was able to make a mental sense of direction, which she treasured like her own parents. Though, perhaps Rain will meet a new pack, whom she loves and will stay with. Though, when? She isn't sure herself.
